Flute Masterclass: Popular Advanced Flute Solo Repertoire

Join us for a masterclass that introduces several classic well-known flute solos! Music will span the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary eras and cover accompanied and unaccompanied pieces that are approved for solo competitions hosted in Katy ISD. This session is best suited for students that are comfortable with the full range of notes on the flute and advanced techniques (e.g., double tonguing, reading complex rhythms), but all are welcome to join and will be able to grow in their playing. Meals will be provided after the session from 11:00am-11:45am. Must be a Katy ISD student to attend.
