Flute Masterclass: Getting Back in Shape After Summer Break (JH)

This masterclass is a dedicated space to revisit the flute fundamentals that sometimes get lost in practice over the summer. Topics will cover setting up a healthy practice schedule and what to focus on, major scales and arpeggios, fingerings across the full flute range, tone quality & vibrato, and more. This session is best suited for junior high students that are comfortable playing one- and two-octave major scales and rhythms that use eighth and sixteenth notes. Meals will be provided after the session from 2:30pm-3:15pm. Must be a Katy ISD student to attend.
